I listen to your podcasts and you guys are great. Really enjoyed alot of them but some stand outs were on the neo-Calvinist-Emergent etc. Also really enjoyed your podcast on literary Genesis. Just a thought, a lot of good discussion has been happening on a couple of different topics on Jesus Creed and other blogs. One is concerning Christian Smith’s new book on biblicism (which is intriguing) and David Fitch’s End of Evangelicalism. I’d love to hear you guys take a look at these topics, because you span the spectrum (particularly on diversity/unity of Scripture, and Anabaptist/Calvinist thoughts). You should do it!
Thanks for reading and commenting. Both of those books sound interesting–we’ll definitely give them some thought for future “book discussion” episodes. This semester, I’m pretty sure, we’ll be doing George Marsden’s “The Outrageous Idea of Christian Scholarship,” but I’d be interested especially in Christian Smith’s book perhaps for a spring episode.
