2000 years of Christian thought on sexuality and chastity available to us and the only Christian contrast to sex-positivism you are able to bring to the table is a sneering mention of the contemporary Evangelical purity movement?

RobertPankey We did not mean to imply that that was the only Christian alternative, only that it was contemporary to the particular strain of sex positivity we were covering. As Lisa said in our introduction to the episode, it came about as a response to a particular set of conversations and was not meant to be comprehensive. If you have a particular book or 21st c. theologian that covers sexuality that you think we should discuss in a future episode, we’d love to look into it.
