Christian Humanist Profiles 65: The Homebrewed Christianity Guide to Jesus

To the one who writes “Jesus is the answer” on the youth-room poster or on the bathroom stall, I reply, “Jesus is the question.”  And of course, true to Biblical phrase-building, Jesus is not mere question but question of questions, demanding from the thinking faithful careful inquiry into history, theology, literary craft, metaphysics, ethics, aesthetics, and all sorts of questions.  To try to take all that on in fewer than 200 pages would take a great fool, so it’s a good thing that Christian Humanist Profiles has Tripp Fuller on hand to play that fool.  Tripp’s new book Jesus: Lord, Liar, Lunatic, or Just Freakin’ Awesome? from Fortress glides between questions and invites its readers, in a style true to Tripp’s project, to brew their own answers from the manifold of Jesus-questions.

Thanks for an amazing interview. Well at least the quality of the questions was high.
