Nora Bonner is a college writing instructor and fiction writer living in Tallahassee, Florida. She recently graduated from Florida State University’s MFA in Creative Writing, where she wrote a historical ghost-story novel for her thesis. Now she’s in the middle of a major rewrite of that same novel and working as an adjunct instructor at both Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University.
Since graduation in August 2013, she’s taught first-year composition, sophomore-level literature, and a couple of senior-level fiction seminars. Her short stories have appeared in several literary journals and anthologies, including Shenandoah, the North American Review, the Bellingham Review, Hobart, Juked, the Chicago Center for Literature and Photography, and the Best American Non-Required Reading (2010). She sometimes blogs about writing on her website: www.norabonner.com.
Nora also moonlights as a local singer/songwriter. She is originally from Detroit.
