As the bad news continues to roll in about American higher education—its devotion to ideologies, libertarian and Marxist, its loss of humanities program after humanities program, and now the terrible toll that Covid-19 is likely to take on its enrollment numbers—many of us have started looking outside the university for the future of the liberal arts. I’d like to think that’s one of the goals of this podcast and the many others like it.
